About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at NeuroLogica Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our CT data acquisition systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for CT data acquisition systems, including analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout validation.
  • Develop FPGA code using Verilog or VHDL programming languages.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and technology partners to assess partner offerings and implement DAS architecture.
  • Develop test equipment and fixtures for DAS testing and functional verification.
  • Design and test for safety and EMC compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess internal and external customer requirements for end-user applications.
  • Translate requirements to specifications and hardware design.
  • Provide technical reports and documentation to support design and testing activities.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering required, Master's preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical design, including analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout validation.
  • Experience with FPGA development, Xilinx preferred, using Verilog or VHDL programming languages.
  • Experience with electrical engineering CAD tools, including schematic capture, simulation, and layout.
  • Experience with digital communication interfaces, including CAN technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write design documents and test plans.
  • Experience with online document control systems, Arena preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
