We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Hain Celestial Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing predictive and preventative maintenance on our packaging, milling, and blending equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Equipment Installation and Upgrade: Assist in the installation and upgrade of new equipment, including electrical, welding, machining, and mechanical tasks.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with our high safety, quality, and GMP standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including daily reports, inventory, and safety sheets.
- Experience: Minimum three years' experience in a mechanical repair capacity or related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Knowledge: Industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a packaging manufacturing environment, or similar education and/or experience with PLC.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Competitive Compensation: Starting wage of $36.00/hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
