About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Via Mobility Services. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, including Gillig Diesel and Fully Electric Transit Buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Work with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in diesel repair
  • ASE Master Certification (8 ASE) within 1 year of employment
  • CDL within 90 days of employment
  • Strong background in diagnostics and problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
