Job Summary

CI The Manufacturing Career HUB is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling parts for our custom architectural lighting fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Weld and fabricate parts using MIG, TIG, or other welding processes.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test fabricated parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Machine Operation: Operate a variety of machines in the factory, including grinders, drill presses, and sheers.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand fabrication requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other departments to accomplish tasks and meet production goals.
  • Communication: Communicate professionally with colleagues and management to ensure smooth production.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all applicable safety requirements and regulatory agencies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in welding and fabrication with a variety of metals, including aluminum and steel.
  • Certification: Welding certificate preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
