  • Execute assigned tasks and work orders, including but not limited to maintenance and repair activities.

  • Assess, diagnose, and determine the appropriate course of action for repairs or tasks.

Qualifications and Educational Background:

  • Education:
    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience and Preferred Skills:
    A minimum of 5 years of experience in handyman services, including skills in lock repair, plumbing, and electrical work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with basic principles and terminology related to masonry, plumbing, and electrical systems, enabling the resolution of straightforward issues.
  • Practical knowledge of handyman responsibilities that allow for efficient repairs and tasks, minimizing reliance on external vendors and contractors.
  • Willingness to acquire additional skills, such as obtaining licenses and certifications in plumbing, electrical work, and sprinkler systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with a team, and deliver excellent customer service in a dynamic work environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Capable of working indoors and outdoors throughout all seasons.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols regarding lifting, chemical handling, and machinery operation.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, and using ladders.
  • Availability for occasional nights and weekends may be necessary due to staffing needs.
