Job Title: PT Operations Admin Customer Service

PITT OHIO, a leading transportation solutions provider, is seeking a Part-Time Operations Admin-Customer Service professional to join our team at our Monroe, MI Terminal.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our operations team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via phone, email, and fax to resolve issues related to freight charges, pick-ups, tracing, tracking, and PODs.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, and payroll processing.
  • Process paperwork and invoices, monitor checks and cash for accounts receivable and payable, and assist with Hazmat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
  • Interact with and support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Command of the English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry and/or customer service is a plus.
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability is essential.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Software products.
  • Strong typing and ten-key skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Potential candidates must be able to endure a noisy, dirty, and quick-paced environment with many interruptions.
