Job Summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Policy Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management department, you will be responsible for leading and performing analytics that support risk policies and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform analytics that support risk policies and strategies.
  • Manage, support, and advance analytics projects for senior stakeholders, including CROs and MDs.
  • Participate in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to regulators and senior management.
  • Negotiate internally to define the book of work and prioritize resources.
  • Regularly communicate with senior stakeholders on the strategic vision of BI and progress towards goals.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to define technology tool sets and resolve data issues.
  • Keep Retail Risk CAO leadership and key partners informed of committed deliverables.
  • Support the People, Process, and Execution strategy for the department.
  • Analyze and evaluate risk frameworks and risk management business processes.
  • Lead role-based strategy design and provide inputs to transformation programs.
  • Challenge and support the team on technical and coding matters.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements
  • Proven interpersonal skills, including team or project management and communication at all levels.
  • Superior communication, presentation, articulation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 10+ years of experience in risk management and oversight, strategic consulting, or policy and risk framework.
  • Experience in retail credit risk and managing complex projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent judgment and independent decision-making ability.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical tools and big data a plus.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
