Exciting Opportunity for a Tissue Processing Specialist

  • Full-time permanent role
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Accessioning biological specimens
    • Preparing frozen tissue sections
    • Assisting in the gross examination of specimens
    • Preparing fixed tissue samples
    • Cutting, mounting, and staining tissue sections for microscopic analysis by a pathologist
  • Shift Schedule: Night shift from 1 AM to 9:30 AM
  • Qualifications:
    • HT or HTL ASCP certification or eligibility for certification
    • Experience in embedding and microtomy is highly desirable
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in histology is preferred
