Job Overview

As a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining the Army's systems and equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of chemical decontamination equipment and quartermaster machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair internal combustion engine ignition, fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
• Perform damage assessments and repairs
• Maintain laundry and bath equipment, pumps, engines, burners, filter units, and water purification units
• Support the maintenance of special purpose equipment, decontamination and protective filter systems, smoke generator systems, and chemical electrical systems

Skills and Qualifications

• Interest in shop mechanics, fixing engines, and machinery
• Ability to work with internal combustion engine theory
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Requirements
