As a Medical Assistant at Mercy, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting physicians and office staff with various duties, such as clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab, x-ray, and medical records. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and office staff with selected duties
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Perform clerical tasks, such as scheduling and data entry
Prepare patients for exams and procedures
Assist with lab and x-ray procedures
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
BLS certification within 90 days of hire
6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA)
