Join Sunrise Senior Living as a highly skilled and compassionate LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential holder in our Pittsburgh, PA location. As a Medication Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our residents by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Medication Administration: Ensure accurate and timely administration of medications, maintaining confidentiality of resident information and adhering to medication safety protocols.
- Resident Care: Provide exceptional care to residents, including conducting Service and Health Updates, participating in Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and collaborating with the Resident Care Director (RCD) to address resident concerns.
- Risk Management and General Safety: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements, reporting all accidents/incidents immediately.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- Maintain state/province specific licensed nurse credential, certifications, and ongoing training/re-education as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, making sound judgments and decisions while prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
- A competitive salary of $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
