Job Summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Village of Southampton location, an Independent Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care senior living community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Staff
  • Plan and schedule cleaning programs, including annual deep cleans, move-in preparations, window, and carpet cleaning
  • Monitor inventory levels, order necessary equipment and supplies, and ensure safe handling and storage
  • Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning duties, including floors, restrooms, kitchens, resident laundry, and apartments
  • Assist with make-ready of vacant apartments as assigned
  • Maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and safe working practices
  • Ensure staff adhere to safety standards, OSHA regulations, and health and building codes
  • Promptly report safety and security incidents to the Director of Plant Operations
  • Control access to keys, equipment, supplies, inventory, and other property
  • Collaborate with staff members to achieve community goals
  • Perform duties of other housekeeping staff in the event of absenteeism
  • Participate in the community's emergency response team
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company personal hygiene policies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years of related experience, with housekeeping experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Compassion for and desire to work with seniors
  • Ability to implement cleaning programs, maintain work records, and follow instructions
  • Capacity to direct the work of others in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively to complete assigned tasks
