Your position as a Culinary Specialist is crucial to our success. Our culinary team is tasked with preparing dishes promptly while upholding exceptional standards of food quality and presentation, minimizing food waste, and adhering to stringent food safety and preparation protocols in accordance with national health department standards. Remember, our guests come for the culinary experience, and your role is vital in crafting remarkable dining moments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistently high-quality customer service to every guest and team member.
  • Ensure that all dishes are completed simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness, while complying with nutritional and sanitation standards.
  • Follow and execute instructions from the executive or sous chef.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including keeping your workstation, tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, sauté burners, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment clean and sanitary.
  • Consistently adhere to our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality benchmarks, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service periods.
  • Foster a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers, proactively anticipating and addressing team members' needs.
  • Execute tasks methodically, using organized service steps to guarantee order accuracy and consistency, even during peak times.
  • Ensure that your station is always prepped to meet business demands.

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a prep or line cook in a high-volume fine dining environment, with strong skills in basic cooking, plating, and knife techniques.
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts is required.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs is necessary.
