Position Overview:
The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional beverage service, encompassing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. This position requires a friendly demeanor, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Consistent attendance and availability for scheduled events are essential.
Compensation: This role offers an hourly wage of $14.00, in addition to tips.

Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit exemplary guest service, foster positive interactions with colleagues, and adhere to uniform standards.
- Follow pre-shift bar notes and menus to ensure service aligns with established guidelines.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
- Possess knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirit options, with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Ensure responsible pouring practices in accordance with company standards.
- Verify guests' identification to confirm they meet the minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase.
- Communicate cut-off policies to guests as necessary.
- Address customer requests and concerns with attentiveness.
- Manage intoxicated guest situations with professionalism, involving management or security when needed.
- Request additional supplies or restock items as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining responsibility for the cash drawer.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, ensuring bar equipment is well-kept.
Additional Duties: Responsibilities may include setting up and breaking down bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six months bartending experience.
- Proficient cash handling skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Self-motivated while also being a team player.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
- Bartending school certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves extensive standing and walking, with routine activities requiring reaching, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The role may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to adjust focus, as well as peripheral and close vision.
