Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Orthopaedics team at Wabash General Hospital. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our athletes and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, manage, and rehabilitate athletic injuries under the direction of our sports medicine physician.
- Provide home event and practice coverage, with occasional travel to away events.
- Ensure proper and prompt clinical documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between primary care providers, specialists, school administrators, athletes, and parents/guardians.
- Develop and implement cognitive baseline testing and preventative programs.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
