Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive athletic health services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Traditional Athletic Trainer Role
- Provide pre-practice and pre-game preparation for athletes
- Evaluate and treat injuries and illnesses
- Provide first aid and emergency care
- Develop and implement rehabilitation plans
- Assist in the delivery of treatment to patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in athletic training or a related field from an accredited college or university
- National certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association
- Licensure or eligibility in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapy modalities, equipment, and diagnostic testing
Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting and in a high school or collegiate environment is highly desirable.
