About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our team at the American Chemical Society. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing our K-8 web properties, including Inquiry in Action, Middle School Chemistry, and Adventures in Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal and external groups to develop and implement strategies for our K-8 web properties.
  2. Lead the ChemClub Program: Oversee the development and execution of the ChemClub program, including budget management and contractor coordination.
  3. Develop Classroom Resources: Collaborate with the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT) to create and publish classroom resources and professional development opportunities for K-8 teachers of chemistry.
  4. Contribute to Education Division Initiatives: Support other Education Division web-based initiatives as needed.
Requirements

This role is based in our Washington, DC office and requires a strong background in education and digital content management. A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $142,000 to $192,000 per year.
