LPN Medication Care Manager

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. As a LPN Medication Care Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner.
- Review and document medication administration records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure medication updates and changes are implemented promptly.
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Individualized Care Plans (ICPs).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements.
- Report all accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions to the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse.
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
