Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prior Authorization Coordinator to join our team. As a Prior Authorization Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining compliance with ERISA, CMS, Medicaid, and client-specific requirements. You will work closely with our team to meet business unit objectives and ensure the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and maintain compliance with ERISA, CMS, Medicaid, and client-specific requirements
  • Work closely with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of our healthcare services
  • Collaborate with the team to meet business unit objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and policies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in data entry
  • Preferred: 1-year healthcare industry-related experience (hospital, managed care, physician office, PBM, etc.)
  • Proficient in Windows applications (Word and Excel)
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and strong written communication and interpersonal skills
