Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with procedures
  • Take vital signs, record medical history, and maintain accurate patient records
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling phone calls
  • Assist with laboratory tests, such as phlebotomy and urinalysis
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a medical assistant preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
