Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill Campus. As a travel surgical technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional care to patients and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care, providing emotional support and comfort to patients and families
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
  • Experience working in a hospital or surgical setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a travel or contract position
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and other healthcare software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
