Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute bioanalytical strategies to assess pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), metabolites, biomarkers, and immunogenicity to support both preclinical and clinical development.
- Provide scientific and technical leadership to guide the design, development, optimization, validation, and analysis of bioanalytical assays, both in-house and through contract research organizations (CROs).
- Explore and implement new assays and technologies to enhance our preclinical and clinical analytical capabilities in the development of targeted cancer therapies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the bioanalytical team while planning for resource allocation.
- Review and assess data, protocols, and reports, ensuring thorough documentation, including entries in electronic lab notebooks (ELN).
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and scientific manuscripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide bioanalytical insights, present findings, and advance projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
- PhD in Cell and/or Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pharmacology, or related fields with over 12 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and industry experience.
Skills and Competencies
- Proven expertise in developing bioanalytical assay methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with bioanalytical and biomarker assays, including cell-based assays, ELISA/MSD, ADA, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry.
- Experience in leading teams, managing CROs, and fostering effective partnerships.
- Proficiency in analytical methods and relevant software, including Prism, Excel, statistical analysis tools, and Benchling (or other ELN).
- Experience in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and familiarity with regulatory standards for bioanalytical assays.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, milestone-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
