As a Phlebotomist - Blood Collection Specialist with the American National Red Cross, you will play a vital role in collecting lifesaving blood donations that are delivered to hospitals. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your healthcare and customer service skills to make a real difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors
- Follow all safety procedures while collecting blood donations
- Take the time to personally connect with donors and help them understand the impact of their donation
What You Need to Know:
- Phlebotomy experience is preferred, but not required
- Associates degree or a combination of education and work experience is required
- Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting is required

Pay Information:
Starting rate $19.50/hr
Standard Schedule:
To best meet the needs of our donors and community, staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is provided two to three weeks in advance.
