We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team in the Center for Pain Management at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham. As a per diem LNA/HUC, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing pain management procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient assessment and care provision under the direction of the Registered Nurse, including measuring and recording patient information, obtaining and preparing specimens for laboratory tests, and observing and reporting patient responses to care.
- Prepare treatment rooms for each patient, including assisting with bedpans, urinals, and commodes, and managing external devices exiting the body.
- Transport patients safely and efficiently, promoting patient safety and environmental cleanliness.
- Minimum 3 months of clerical experience and 3 months of experience as an LNA.
- Preferred experience: over one year of clerical and LNA experience in an acute care setting.
- High School graduate with office practice courses or graduate of an LNA program.
- BLS, CPR, and LNA licensure.
