As a per diem nurse in our Preoperative department, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as collaborating with other clinicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure best possible outcomes
  • Provide competent, effective care to patients
  • Seek validation for clinical decisions and integrate input from other clinicians
  • Delegate to and supervise team members based on assessment of competencies
  • Communicate relevant patient data to appropriate persons clearly and effectively

Requirements:

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program with RN licensure
  • More than 1-year RN experience with > 2000 hrs work experience
  • IV Therapy proficiency
  • ACLS, PALS, ARC or AHA BLS certification
