  • Creation of detailed product specifications and comprehensive project development plans.
  • Leading cost-saving initiatives through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE).

Success Factors:

To excel in this role, you will need to:
  • Ensure timely project completion while upholding the company's reputation for reliability.
  • Create and execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for continuous product improvement.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction projects to enhance the company's financial performance.
  • Conduct hands-on testing and validation of products to exceed industry standards.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience with CAD/Solidworks modeling and the ability to produce 2D drawings.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Residency within a specified radius of the work location is required.

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with phase gate project development.
  • Experience in a global business environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Experience with Voice of the Customer (VOC) methodologies.
  • Background in designing steel, iron, and aluminum casting products.
  • Experience in sheet metal stamping and spring steel product design.
