Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating the academic and non-academic activities of children in our care.
  • Teach and implement learning objectives for all ages and/or classrooms, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging educational experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting parents and children at drop-off and pick-up times.
  • Contribute to daily tasks such as diapering, laundry, cleaning, and toy organization, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Ensure compliance with state-mandated child/staff ratios and all relevant regulations, including those related to health and safety.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Minimum of 6 college hours at an accredited college or university (or 3 college hours in early childhood education for hires prior to 7/30/2018) OR obtain MOA Educational Waiver before hire and maintain throughout employment.
  • Experience
    • Preferred: 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong time management, interpersonal, communication, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
    • Able to perform in high-stress situations, including peak volume times such as morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: Obtain Heartsaver Pediatric CPR/FA/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
