International Medical Corps is seeking a highly skilled Global GBV and MHPSS Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Unit, you will play a critical role in establishing consensus between the GBV and MHPSS sectors for survivor-centered support services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to the Ethiopia teams on all aspects of their responsibilities for the global project, including the development and oversight of a detailed work plan and budget.
- Take the lead on the development of technical tools and resources for MHPSS service provision best practices for GBV survivors.
- Develop and deliver technical trainings for field staff, volunteers, and partner organizations.
- Conduct field visits to provide in-person technical support, guidance, and recommendations for optimal project implementation and related monitoring of project developments, challenges, and improvements needed.
- Contribute to knowledge management through the production and dissemination of case studies, promising practices, and lessons-learned documents.
- Experience in GBV and MHPSS programming, with a strong understanding of survivor-centered support services.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver technical trainings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct field visits and provide in-person technical support.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong commitment to collaboration and knowledge sharing.
