Position Overview:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your expertise in testing methodologies will be essential in identifying and resolving issues before they reach our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to provide feedback and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze electromagnetic (EM) effects on various subsystems and components, contributing to the enhancement of EM testing capabilities.
  • Lead the planning and execution of EMP and HPEM testing, ensuring thorough data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, reports, and compliance guidelines.
  • Research and interpret new Department of Defense (DoD) EMP survivability requirements to align with client missions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the defense sector, particularly in nuclear-related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a scientific or engineering discipline, such as nuclear or electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience in conducting EMP verification assessments and familiarity with EM technologies.
  • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
  • Possession of a Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance is a plus.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline is advantageous.
