POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide personalized instruction utilizing the principles of applied behavior analysis in various environments, including clinics, homes, and educational settings.

Instructional ABA Consultants is in search of Part-Time Behavioral Support Interns to assist children diagnosed with Autism through ABA methodologies in the surrounding areas.

Commitment: This role necessitates a commitment of one year and requires in-person attendance.

Part-time opportunities are available, with evening shifts (3-8pm) based on individual availability and client requirements. One weekend day is also expected.

Incentive: A sign-on bonus of $150.00 will be awarded after 90 days of service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute instructional goals and plans developed by the Behavior Analyst.
  • Collect and maintain data pertinent to the established goals and behavior strategies.
  • Ensure timely electronic documentation of data and clinical records within a 24-hour period.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions organized by Instructional ABA Consultants.
  • Maintain proactive communication with the Behavior Analyst and Program Manager.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in psychology, human development, or behavior analysis is preferred.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to work responsibilities and scheduling.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Candidates pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree are highly encouraged to apply.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS
  • This is a part-time internship position.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Travel is required between client locations and for necessary meetings.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required.
  • Service areas include multiple locations.
SUPERVISION
  • Reports directly to the Behavior Analyst and Program Manager.
