About the Role

As an intern at Zurich, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working for a global industry leader in commercial insurance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in underwriting basics, including learning about insurance policies and risk management.
  • Contribute to basic business unit financial reporting and financial reports for upcoming meetings.
  • Manage pipelines and prepare for presentations and stewardship meetings.
  • Review loss summaries and provide inputs.
  • Attend a broker meeting with a mentor.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program in the fall semester following the internship.
  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior at the time of the internship.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 (current GPA reported by your school).
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors, including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Zurich provides a competitive salary range, with the starting salary for this position being $22.50. Additional rewards may include short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases.
