Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion and financial success.
    • Lead the execution of project plans by assembling and managing project teams, coordinating internal resources, and assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Client Management
    • Serve as primary liaison between all parties involved in a project, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Maintain an ongoing positive relationship with clients, focusing on exceptional client service to secure future work.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Mentor and supervise staff within the team on project management best practices, utilizing Olsson's Project Management programs and resources.
    • Adhere to regulations and enforce safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in highway or municipal design, with a focus on project management.
    • Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
    • Ability to contribute and work well on a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
    • Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
    • Connectivity with local municipalities in the St. Louis area is a plus.
