Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. As a key member of our CV Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound testing, including 2D echo/Doppler, stress exams, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex technical care using ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Credential in echocardiography, such as RDCS or RCS.
- Two years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer preferred.
