Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Piedmont HealthCare. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound testing, including 2D echo/Doppler, stress exams, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCL) certification.
- Credential in echocardiography, such as Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- Two years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer preferred.
