Position Overview:

The Procurement Coordinator plays a vital role in establishing presentation standards and preparing intricate, customer-specific charts and reports to assist procurement agents and management in analyzing and managing procurement components such as supplier costs, delivery timelines, and quality metrics.

This position entails handling procurement tasks for low-value, uncomplicated purchases and executing releases based on previously negotiated strategic agreements. The coordinator will provide support to Procurement Agents in managing more significant procurement transactions and offer guidance to less experienced Procurement Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input data, execute complex queries, and perform updates and edits on databases to maintain data integrity and timeliness for procurement agents and management.
  • Design, create, and sustain procurement databases.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and provide data from various systems to facilitate effective evaluation of processes and performance within the procurement cycle.
  • Engage with suppliers, procurement agents, and internal stakeholders to identify and resolve issues related to the procurement cycle, including quotes, billing, contracts, and documentation discrepancies to ensure compliance.
  • Determine requirements and gather necessary documentation from various sources to define contractual obligations.
  • Oversee the organization of meetings, including recording and distributing minutes and agendas, processing forms, and performing administrative tasks to enhance procurement operations efficiency.
