Maintenance Technician Job Description

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Inclusive Housing Resources in Fairfield, Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment, and major household appliances. You will troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently, coordinate tasks with team members, and work independently when needed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform maintenance on buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment, and major household appliances
* Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
* Coordinate tasks with team members and work independently when needed
* Maintain a flexible schedule during 1st shift hours (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday, with the potential for overtime

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or GED
* At least 1 year of building maintenance experience
* Advanced knowledge in two or more building trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC)
* Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously and perform manual tasks
* Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
* Valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points on the driving record, and ability to pass a background check
