Audiology Associates of South Florida is on the lookout for a talented and caring Audiologist to become part of our enthusiastic team. Our practice caters to both pediatric and adult patients throughout the week and participates in Florida's Early Steps program, thus requiring our new team member to possess a robust background and passion for pediatric audiology alongside adult care.
A Typical Day Includes:
- Building strong relationships with patients of all ages and their families through educational guidance and tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's lifestyle and requirements.
- Conducting thorough audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry.
- Administering auditory processing evaluations, newborn hearing screenings (ABR's and OAE's), tinnitus assessments, and cochlear implant consultations.
- Fitting and dispensing hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in audiology research and technology.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Current or eligibility for Audiology licensure in Florida.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster effective working relationships with a diverse range of patients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Experience in pediatric audiology is preferred but not mandatory.
