Key Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, standardize, and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Document all laboratory procedures and results, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with laboratory management to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Laboratory Science by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are essential for performing laboratory procedures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
