About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Quality Inspector to join our team in Monroe, NC. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify that final products meet production standards by comparing them to written order instructions
  • Examine materials to ensure they meet manufacturing or industry specifications
  • Return products for re-work if necessary and complete documentation
  • Communicate with operators and supervisors to resolve quality issues
  • Walk around to different machines to verify accuracy of jobs
  • Cross-train in different departments to develop skills
  • Report quality issues to senior management
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of items leaving the facility
  • Input data into production database
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous quality inspection or related experience in a fast-paced production environment
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic measuring skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the print and/or mail industry
  • Post-high school education
  • Six Sigma training
  • Lean manufacturing training
