Product Designer

Remitly, Inc. is seeking a skilled Product Designer to fill a key role in our organization. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering product UI and UX assets, including mockups, redlines, design elements, and specifications.

  • Design and deliver product UI and UX assets, including mockups, redlines, design elements, and specifications.
  • Iterate designs based on customer insights from both qualitative and quantitative design research.
  • Design scalable systems and patterns for the company's native application customer experiences and responsive web applications.
  • Develop and present product prototypes.
  • Generate and assist with vetting product ideas.
  • Assist with design research projects to better understand customer needs.
  • Advocate for mobile application best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Studies, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with designing digital consumer experiences across multiple platforms, including mobile devices.

  • 2 years of experience with visual design, including motion, animation, and fluidity in design.
  • 2 years of experience with qualitative and quantitative data theories and execution within an A/B testing framework.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC, CSS, design thinking, Figma, HTML, information architecture, InVision, prototyping, Sketch, system design, surveying, SaaS applications, user research, and usability testing.
