- Oversee the logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
- Review daily Front Office logs and Trace Files.
- Provide information to guests about local dining, transportation, and entertainment options.
- Follow established cash handling and credit policies.
- Stay informed about all rates, packages, and special promotions.
- Be knowledgeable about in-house groups and restricted dates.
- Gather necessary information for room reservations and follow the rate-quoting process.
- Understand hospitality terminology and emergency procedures.
- Handle check-ins and checkouts with efficiency and courtesy.
- Utilize proper communication etiquette when using two-way radios.
- Fully understand and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
- Complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely manner.
- Conduct bucket checks, room rate verification reports, and housekeeping reports.
- Prepare and balance individual paperwork for shift closures in accordance with hotel standards.
- Promote and maintain guest programs and hotel promotions.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Assist guests with safe deposit box access.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
