Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver exceptional value while producing high-quality products that meet the expectations of our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistent attendance is crucial for this position.
- Interpret internal job packet instructions accurately.
- Prepare and manage stock for production operations.
- Organize and prepare mail for dispatch to USPS.
- Facilitate the transportation of materials between buildings.
- Handle loading and unloading of materials at the machinery.
- Manage loading and unloading of materials from transport vehicles.
- Perform janitorial and general maintenance tasks as required.
- Utilize auxiliary software and tracking tools effectively.
- Adhere to quality standards as outlined in the company's Quality Management System.
- Execute all other assigned duties as necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading small print.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language (including customer data, instructions, manuals, and procedures).
- Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Capability to understand and interpret both oral and written instructions.
- Must possess a valid chauffeur's driver's license at all times.
- Ability to successfully complete in-house certification training for equipment operation annually.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reporting Structure: This position does not have any direct reports.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job for eight (8) hours per day and at least five (5) days per week. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use both hands and fingers for loading, unloading, and operating equipment. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally, the employee may need to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision (ability to read small print), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to:
- Moving mechanical parts.
- Cleaning fluids and solvents.
- Oil used for machine lubrication.
- Paper dust.
- Moderate to high noise levels that may necessitate hearing protection.
