Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Masters Level Clinician to join our team at Muskegon County. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based practice to individuals receiving services, reducing symptoms and maximizing recovery.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of client contact and treatment services, meeting agency, state, and professional standards.
  • Develop person-centered treatment plans that reflect the consumer's goals and measurable objectives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and perform other work duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • One year of previous experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and/or serious emotional disturbance.
  • State of Michigan Limited or Full Masters Social Worker license, Limited or Full Marriage and Family Therapist License, Limited or Full Professional Counselor license, or Temporary or Limited Masters Psychologist license, or Full Psychologist License.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual candidates highly desired.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
  • Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.

Work Environment:

The Masters Level Clinician will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
