Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Applied Researcher II to join our AI Foundations team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products that transform the customer experience.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI-powered products
  • Leveraging a broad stack of technologies to analyze and create insights from large volumes of data
  • Building AI foundation models through all phases of development, from design to implementation
  • Engaging in high-impact applied research to take the latest AI developments to the next level of customer experiences
  • Flexing your interpersonal skills to translate complex technical work into tangible business goals
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in computer science, machine learning, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or M.S. degree and at least 2-4 years of experience in applied research. Additionally, we are seeking a candidate with a track record of delivering models at scale, experience with open-source languages, and a deep understanding of AI methodologies.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • Experience with large deep learning models, training optimization, and self-supervised learning
  • Experience with production real-time and streaming environments
  • Contributions to common open-source frameworks
  • Proposed new methods for inference or representation learning on graphs or sequences
