LPN Opportunity in Enhanced Medical Group Living Environment

Center for Human Development is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Enhanced Medical Group Living Environment (EMGLE) program. This brand new 18-bed facility in East Longmeadow, MA offers a unique opportunity to provide quality care and support to individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and manage medication audits
  • Attend care plan meetings and provide direct care as needed
  • Assist with personal hygiene care, including bathing and showering
  • Provide clear and precise information to charge nurses and RNs
  • Administer nonsterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, and heat treatments
  • Check vital signs and weight, and record intake and output
Requirements:
  • License in practical nursing from the Board of Registration in Massachusetts
  • One year of experience as an LPN, preferably in a behavioral health setting
  • Valid driver's license and a clear and clean criminal history
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs or more and meet the physical demands of the role
