Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant

I & MJ Gross Company Inc, a prominent player in the residential management and development sector, is on the lookout for a motivated and qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Primary Duties:

  • Evaluate monthly financial statements and cash flow for various properties
  • Conduct bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Oversee a Fixed Asset management system across multiple properties
  • Verify insurance payments against the initial premium quotes
  • Analyze collection reports
  • Execute procedural audits for several properties
  • Manage state and local tax filings
  • Propose enhancements for business processes
  • Support the annual budgeting process and bank reporting
  • Examine mortgage and escrow documentation
  • Perform job cost analysis and reporting
  • Engage in special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience
  • Familiarity with Real Page and Sage 300 Timberline software is advantageous
  • Understanding of Fixed Asset systems is beneficial
