We are seeking a highly qualified Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor to join our team at Rowan College at Burlington County. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and assess student learning in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the program
- Assess student outcomes and program effectiveness
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential
- Abdominal and obstetrics/gynecology credentials
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential preferred
- Associate's degree
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a registered sonographer
- Proficiency in ultrasound physics
- Previous teaching experience preferred
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.
