Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and oversight to production staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity goals.
  • Maximize throughput and meet budgetary targets by optimizing production processes and resources.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for secondary support and assist other departments as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and efficient production environment, ensuring compliance with established processes and instructions.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and communication among employees, peers, and management.
  • Assign tasks to a unionized workforce and ensure accountability for compliance with safety, quality, and production processes.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and be flexible to work any shift, including rotating shifts and weekends.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of manufacturing/supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Powder Coating, E-coating, Painting experience preferred
  • Safety and Quality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Prior experience managing an hourly work force
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
