Job Title: Production Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team at Helios Labs, LLC. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and efficiency of our production processes.

Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

Operational Excellence:

  • Packaging and Labeling:

    • Prepare cannabis products for packaging, ensuring accurate weighing, measuring, and labeling.
    • Follow packaging guidelines and protocols to maintain product integrity and compliance.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Maintain proper counts and weights of various goods produced.
    • Maintain an organized, clean work area.

  • Production Efficiency:

    • Complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining efficiency of production processes, including equipment utilization and downtime.
    • Monitor and analyze the time it takes to produce a batch of products, from raw materials to finished goods.
    • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process and work to streamline operations.

  • Teamwork:

    • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve production goals and ensure smooth operation of the production facility.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
    • Participate actively in team meetings, sharing ideas and providing input to improve processes and procedures.
    • Support team members by offering assistance and stepping in to help when needed.
    • Engage in problem-solving activities with team members to address challenges and overcome obstacles.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to learn from others and adapt to new ways of working to enhance team performance.

  • Attendance:

    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance according to scheduled shifts.
    • Notify supervisor in advance of any anticipated absences or tardiness.



Safety and Compliance:

  • Safety and Security:

    • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
    • Follow all PPE guidelines for each task and workstation.
    • Adhere to security procedures to prevent unauthorized access to cannabis products and facilities.

  • Quality Control:

    • Participate in quality control procedures to ensure that all cannabis products meet company standards.
    • Follow proper sanitation and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and maintain product quality.
    • Monitor and analyze the percentage of products meeting quality standards.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality throughout the production process.

  • Compliance:

    • Ensure strict adherence to state regulations and compliance standards governing cannabis production.
    • Follow packaging guidelines and protocols to maintain product integrity and compliance.

  • Quality Assurance Compliance:

    • Complete all tasks ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations for Cannabis Product manufacturing.



Requirements:

  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 1-3 years of experience in production position; including hands-on production activities.
  • Must have a PHYSICAL COPY valid Driver's License or State ID card.
  • Must have a PHYSICAL COPY of your Social Security card.
  • Must pass all required background checks.
  • This job requires completion of a Department of Agriculture (DOA) background check and badging process. You must have a valid state-issued ID and social security card in order to submit to the DOA's process.


Additional Notes:
The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, walking, and lifting or moving up to 40 pounds (or more with a co-worker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
