Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our mission to revolutionize data observability. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud-based products. Your expertise in reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps will be instrumental in shaping our technology and driving innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and reliability across the entire lifecycle
  • Measure and monitor production systems, identifying areas for improvement and driving teams towards better operational excellence
  • Engage with product and platform teams to evolve systems, advocating for changes that enhance reliability, resilience, and observability
  • Help identify and drive down toil through creative innovation and automation
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role
  • Extensive experience with enterprise-scale continuous delivery environments
  • Development experience in a Linux/Mac environment
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (prefer AWS) and container/orchestration technologies
  • Experience with APM and Observability tools, such as New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, and Sentry
  • Background in Linux Systems Engineering
  • Experience with incident response tools, such as PagerDuty, FireHydrant, and Blameless
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud and application security
  • Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns for scale, data management, resiliency, etc.
  • A love for high-quality software and a knack for testing
  • Opinions about dashboards, metrics, and SLOs
What We Offer

Cribl offers a competitive salary range of $144,000 - $278,000, dependent on geographic location and individual experience. In addition to a generous benefits package, including health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, we offer paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
